Relevance to Education:
- In nursing practice this theory should be applied when communicating with patients and patients family. With using this theory caring can be seen through providing presence, touch, listening, knowing the patient, spiritual caring, relieving pain, and family care. During one's practice they must be always present when talking to a patient, to show that they genuinely do care about them.
Relevance to Research:
- This theory can be applied to research through using the process of enabling . When one is conducting research they must keep in mind how they will be helping others through important life events through providing and explaining information. This is important because one must be providing accurate research to their patients. One must also be enabling through generating alternatives for their patients through research.
Relevance to Education:
- This theory can also be applied to education through using the process of maintaining belief. One needs to be educated about many different faiths in order to help others get through tough life decisions. Through learning other faiths one will be able to help raise their patient's self-esteem and helping their patient to keep hope and remain optimistic about their future.
